Take a step back in time, to the 1950's...for a stay at an old-style Ranch Camp! The current owner, a 6th generation Martin, has maintained the charm the Camp has held for over 60 years while adding modern upgrades to the facilities. Perfect for reunions of family and friends, for church groups or even two-somes wanting a tranquil but very memorable get-away!
Situated on 2,500 acres, the Ranch is the perfect setting for outdoor adventures of all kinds. With two miles fronting the Llano River, the Ranch is ideal for fishing, kayaking, canoeing or swimming along the pictureseque limestone cliffs edging this portion of the ancient waterway.
Seasonal hunting is available and adventuring the out-of-doors is year-round! Exploring the hike and bike trails, birdwatching and stargazing will never be better than this! Horses are welcome, as well!
The guest accommodations at the Ranch Camp are nestled in a grove of shade trees, almost in the middle of the ranch. Each of the 9 cabins is recently remodeled with fresh paint and linens, a/c & heat and private bath facilities.
Included in the compound is The Lodge, built in 1930, which houses the camp-style commercial kitchen, dining room, reading and game room of yesteryear. Outdoors is a large firepit, lawn chairs, washer pitch and horsehoes and a large bbq/smoker for guests to use. Other facilities include laundry room, walk-in cooler, and additional restrooms with showers. The Camp area will only be shared by one party of guests.
